Bought Takara Kabuto Single Speed Road Bike as a college student on a budget. Wanted a cheap, nice looking bike that could get me to and from class and work. Use Takara Kabuto Road Bike daily and havnt had a problem yet. Ride it fixed and have removed the rear brake to save some weight (not the lightest bike you will find). Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable single speed bike that requires little work and will get the job done. You will need a few tools to assemble, got by with a crescent wrench and a basic allen wrench set, but needed to ask a friend for I believe it was an 8mm allen to tighten the stem bolt.

I ordered Takara Kabuto Single Speed Road Bike since I wanted a way to get around since I don't own a car yet. I love it. I will admit that on the second day the front inner tube died but that was my fault as I wasn't looking forward because of a distraction. Easy fix. Make sure the PSI is right. Too much can cause explosive tires as I've read so far. Make sure you tighten and adjust everything as you wouldn't want noises, embarrassment, or death. That would be lame. Anyway, Takara Kabuto Single Speed Road Bike is awesome, fast, study, very dependable, looks awesome (tons of compliments and stares), and cheap. I have nothing negative to say about Takara Kabuto Single Speed Road Bike. I love it.

I really enjoy riding Takara Kabuto Single Speed Road Bike. I tried the fixed gear (have to reverse the wheel and the tire) but that seems to be more for advanced riders. Riding long distance in fixed gear won't allow you to take the weight off of your seat and you could be pretty sore afterwards! I switched the wheel and tire back to single-speed, now I'm able to put my weight on the pedals and coast - it's much more comfortable on longer rides. The brakes are taking a long time to break in, but they're getting better each time I ride. I think the yellow is a little bit over-the-top, some guy said "nice tires!", but I can't wait to wear them out and get some black ones. I've taken off the stickers and the pedal straps, and I think it looks great. I am thoroughly impressed by the value of Takara Kabuto Single Speed Road Bike! I bought the 57cm frame for 219.95, even though Amazon dropped the price, it was worth it. Get out and ride!
